Why did you choose to renew your vows?
We chose to renew our vows because its something we've always talked about. Our wedding seemed like a whirlwind and I'm not sure either of us really got to enjoy it. Our commitment and love for each other is so much stronger now, so why not renew those vows we took 15 years ago. After we have been through so much together it just seems like those vows mean so much more.
Why did you choose your resort and destination?
Well Turks and Caicos is beautiful and we didn't ever really get a honeymoon so an island was definitely our top destination. We had heard about the Beaches Resort from research on the internet and it was important to us to take our children. Andrea spoke so highly of the resort that we just had to go.
Did you add any personal touches to your wedding ceremony?
We were able to pick all of our details of the ceremony. My son walked me down the aisle and we chose to say our own vows. The planners at the resort were wonderful to work with.
What advice would you give to couples considering a destination wedding?
My advice to others would be to definitely "do it". And definitely use a travel planner. It was so easy and stress free. It made it so much more enjoyable. Shoreline Destinations is amazing to work with. They are willing to go the extra mile and make sure you have no worries, but also have exactly what you want.
What activities did you enjoy at Beaches Turks & Caicos?
Beaches Turks and Caicos was fabulous. We had to try out each of the pools, lol. We could have lounged at the beach for days just looking at the view. It was surreal. The kids enjoyed the water park and my son enjoyed all of the Sesame Street themed activities. The food was amazing at all of the restaurants. We chose not to do excursions, but we didn’t need to. The resort has so much to offer. This was probably one of the most wonderful experiences I've ever had.
