Vow Renewals
Retie the knot in paradise.
Ready to walk down the aisle and commemorate your marriage? Whether you’re celebrating 5 years or 50 years, we’ll help you find the perfect destination and resort for you and your guests.
Let’s get started! Here’s everything you need to know about a wedding vow renewal ceremony.
Why should you have a vow renewal ceremony?
To celebrate a milestone anniversary
To reaffirm your commitment to each other
To celebrate making it through a tough time
To include your kids and reaffirm your marriage with them
You have the financial ability to have the wedding of your dreams
Whatever the reason is, having a vow renewal will be a chance for you and your significant other to recommit and to reflect on where your relationship is now.
When should you have a vow renewal?
There isn’t a rule as to when you should have a vow renewal - it’s all up to you! Most couples choose to have a vow renewal for a milestone anniversary (10, 15, or 25 years), but plan your vow renewal whenever it seems like the best timing for you.
What is the best destination for a vow renewal?
A vow renewal ceremony can be anywhere! Since a vow renewal isn’t legally binding you can have it anywhere you’d like. We love vow renewals in a destination such as Mexico or the Caribbean because it gives the couple a chance to celebrate in paradise. Plus - if you invite friends or family, it’s a chance for everyone to spend time together in an incredible location.
Check out some of our favorite wedding locations here. We specialize in destination weddings and have experience planning ceremonies in Los Cabos, Cancun, Punta Cana, Turks & Caicos, and more!
What does a vow renewal look like?
Vow renewals can look just like a wedding (vows, gown, flowers, etc.) or it can look completely different! When you have a vow renewal ceremony, the format is up to you and your significant other. The only thing it won’t include is a marriage license.
Who officiates a vow renewal?
Similar to commitment ceremonies, vow renewals don't necessarily need to have an officiant. You both can exchange your vows or you can have a close friend or family member help you with the ceremony.
What should I wear to a vow renewal?
Anything you want! Some couples choose to wear more formal attire, similar to a wedding, while others choose to be more casual. Anything from formal gowns to beach dresses with sandals is acceptable when you celebrate in paradise!
