How did you meet?
We met while working at a golf club in college. As our part-time job, we were both servers, and we had mutual friends who we all worked with. One night after an event, Austin asked Carissa to go on a date. She did not realize he looked at her as more than a friend. She appreciated the gesture, and they had a nice night out to dinner.
Why did you choose to have a destination wedding?
We wanted to share our special time with all our friends and family at an all-inclusive resort. It allows everyone to spend a few days away enjoying good company, rekindling with old friends, and meeting new ones.

We chose Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres because the photos were amazing online. It was a new resort, and we were excited to see how it would grow and develop over the couple of years of our wedding planning.
