Why did you choose your resort / destination for your honeymoon?
The honeymoon destination was picked by Josh as a surprise to Kelli! Throughout the whole process, he kept the surprise to himself, not telling anyone! Kelli found out the surprise location as the plane was landing in St. Lucia (the pilot announced their location). Josh picked the location because it was unique and had a different vibe than your standard honeymoon Caribbean resort.
What activities or excursions did you do on your honeymoon?
Our honeymoon was filled with relaxation and exploration! We traveled to the volcano where we did a private mud-bath followed by a private tour through the beautiful Botanical Gardens. Having our own guided tour made it extra special! We also went biking through the jungle with Tyson and afterwards enjoyed a wonderful lunch on Jade Mountain’s secluded beachfront. At the end of the week, we enjoyed in-room, one-hour massages followed by an delicious dinner at one of the best restaurant’s we’ve ever eaten at, the Jade Mountain Club! We also snorkeled in the beautiful St. Lucia waters. The snorkeling was some of the best throughout all our travels.
What were your favorite places that you would recommend to others?
We highly recommend the Volcano/Botanical Garden tour and dining at the Jade Mountain club as much as possible. The food was insanely delicious. Overall, our week in St. Lucia was a dream come true!
