I remember when I first started in the industry I was so excited about this resort. I had been following this resort for well over a year and couldn't wait for it to open. It was a "takeover" from an old hotel brand. They completely overhauled the buildings and have continuously worked to make this a great family resort in Ocho Rios! Location It takes a bit to get to from the airport (90 min) but once you are here, you are within minutes of so many excursions in Ocho Rios. So for those that are looking to explore outside of the resort, this is a favorite one! You can literally walk into downtown Ocho Rios too!
Stylish & Modern Feel After undergoing a full renovation, this family-friendly property reopened in 2015 as a high-end luxury resort with majestic marble interiors. The moment you walk into the lobby with a huge picture window looking out to the ocean, you feel you've "arrived" and are in for a treat.
Dolphins & Dock on property! Want to take a sunset catamaran cruise? Want to experience swimming with dolphins? Just walk right out on the dock and viola! You can start your excursion. No transfer vehicles needed!
Family Friendly, but adults, don't fret! There's actually a night club here on property and it's not bad! It feels like a real nightclub, and although on the smaller side, I love this option as we have so many adults that want to keep the party going late into the night.
Room Size Palace resorts doesn't disappoint when it comes to room size. The full balcony rooms (they have French balcony rooms in a different building) are really spacious! Plus, if you have a family where everyone needs space, you can get the Family Deluxe category here which guarantees you a king room connecting to a 2 double bed room.
