How did you meet? We met in Dallas in 2016. We dated long distance for almost 2 years. Andrey finally moved back to Dallas in 2018 and we got engaged 5/6/22 and tied the knot on 7/8/23.
Why did you choose to have a destination wedding? We knew that doing a destination wedding we could not only celebrate our wedding, but also our family and friends could make this a relaxing vacation for themselves. We also loved that no one in our family had to help set up decorations or make sure everything was going smoothly, they just had to show up and have fun.
Why did you choose your resort and destination? Our first adventure together as a couple was traveling to Cabo to celebrate our birthdays (we share the same birthday). We KNEW we wanted to get married in Cabo. Hyatt Ziva Los Cabo was the perfect all-inclusive resort to accommodate adults and children.
What was your most memorable moment during your ceremony? Having a beach wedding was a dream of mine since I was a little girl. Having the perfect beach setting with 100 of our closest family and friends will always be my favorite part of our big day.
What was the best part about having a destination wedding? Weddings can go by very fast, and you sometimes miss seeing everyone. We got to socialize, have dinner, mingle and hangout with ALL of guests more than just the day of!
What was your experience using Shoreline Destinations? Shoreline Destinations did everything to make our planning less stressful!!!!!!!!!!!! From the moment I met Andrea and her team, I knew we were in good hands.
I have never used a travel agency before, but I am so glad we used them for our destination wedding. They were very organized, responsive, and took the stress off our plate related to travel entirely. Taking on all of the questions our guests had was the biggest help! We knew with confidence that when guests had questions or needs we could redirect them to Meredith and they would be in great hands. It was also REALLY nice to not have to worry about setting up transportation to and from the airport for all of our guests.
