How did you meet?
We met about a month before the world shut down due to the Global Pandemic in Winter of 2020. We actually met online and after going on a few dates, decided to give it a go. Then the Pandemic drastically changed what we thought our lives were going to look like. We decided it was a good chance to figure out if we could work. 5 years later, things turned out pretty good!
Why did you choose to have a destination wedding?
Our families are in two completely different locations in the States and if we chose my hometown, his family would have to travel and if we chose where we live now, my family would have to travel. So we decided to have a destination wedding so that it was fair to both of our families. We understand that while this may limit some people from being able to attend, those who want to be there, will be.
We also both have very hard working families and friends who rarely take vacations, so we saw this as an awesome opportunity to give them a vacation and a bit of time to relax. Finally, we are Mexico all-inclusive through and through. When we went on our first all-inclusive vacation in Mexico and didn't have to worry about a thing, we knew this was the right decision to make. We're ready to party!
Why did you choose to have your wedding at Hilton Cancun
We looked at affordability for everyone and I fell in love with the Lobby Terrace Ceremony location. It was gorgeous and I could picture the entire day there.
