How did you meet?
We met during our freshman year at Western Illinois University. We enrolled in the same class and became quick friends over the course of the semester. Separated by the summer, we were eager to get back to school to be reunited and by the start of sophomore year we were falling for each other. By November 2013, we were officially dating and the rest is history!

Why did you choose to have a destination wedding?
We were originally interested in a destination wedding due to having family scattered across the country - since most would need to travel anyway, we felt more flexible on where we could host our big day. After considering our options, we decided that it would be amazing to enjoy our wedding in a beautiful vacation environment with all of our family and friends.

Why did you choose your resort and destination?
With Brooke's family being originally from Mexico we knew it would be the perfect destination. Upon reviewing the different regions and options Mexico has to offer, we fell in love with the beautiful Hard Rock Los Cabos Resort. Being family-friendly and located in a stunning area, Hard Rock rose to the top and we were impressed with the resort footprint and amenities.

What was your most memorable moment during your ceremony?
For the bride, it was the moment I stepped onto the sandy aisle, looked up and saw our closest family and friends smiling at me, the gorgeous beach surrounding them and the best part of all, my stunning, soon to be husband happily awaiting me at the end of the aisle. It’s a moment I’ll never forget.

What was the best part about having a destination wedding?
ALL OF IT! The wedding day was amazing, but let’s be real, it goes by so fast. We really LOVED that we were able to spend so much time with all of our family and friends both before and after our big day. And what better way to spend it than at an all-inclusive paradise?!

What was your experience using Shoreline Destinations?
Shoreline Destinations made it SO easy and took so much off our plates in the wedding planning process. It felt so good to have a team of ladies that we could always turn to for questions and support throughout the entire process. We never once had to worry about guest accommodations or bookings as they smoothly handled all of it. I can’t imagine planning a destination wedding without this team.
